Mackenzie has been in the field of counseling for four years. Mackenzie's clinical experience includes helping people with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, anger, emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, health issues, relational issues/stresses, life transitions, grief, and trauma. While she enjoys working with individuals from nearly all demographics she is most passionate about working with teenagers, adults, and couples.
Education and Training
Mackenzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology as well as her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University.
Mackenzie believes that healing occurs through the relationship between the therapist and the individual. She is committed to being a therapist that listens, challenges you, and is a consistent source of support as you begin your journey of personal and relational betterment. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgemental environment in which the individuals she is working with can explore their pain distresses while also working to create meaning and growth. Mackenzie believes that each person is unique and comes from their own unique "mess". She believe that gaining a better understanding of your own personal "mess" is vital for growth both personally and relationally.
